Ok, now she’s gonna hit him. Maybe gnaw on one of his ear flippers, too.

I just wanna know whats so terrible they had to seal off a whole section of city

It’s explained in pages 151 and 152. Every able bodied man was given a weapon to attack the Avalonians at once. They did so in the wall of the palace which makes up that portion of the city. Thousands of them were transformed into things like the “Tainted”/”Faithful” who are holding back the Guard for Emily. Those are probably the lesser affected, who escaped to the surrounding streets. It seems that the city is probably full of much more horribly mutilated “creatures” ranging from the citizens and guard to the larger flying and hopping critters… Maybe even an Ourga.

…I just got the joke! *PMSL* They were throwing sticks and stones at her earlier XD
      BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA

is it just me or did the art get even slicker than it already was recently? I’m guessing it’s not me …

Also, she should probably step out of the cannon’s line of fire.

umway’s explanation makes perfect sense. but emily’s gonna throw a tantrum, judging by those little smoke signals above her head. :)

Has anyone else ever noticed that all the really good guns have orbs around the barrel?

I guess I can understand Umway. He can’t help every lost soul back and there’s no point in giving them answers if they truly don’t have the power to turn things around. But even a pawn can check-mate a king and I’m convinced that Emily is a very well positioned pawn in all this and I’m betting that Umway doesn’t realise that he’s just played his part in assisting that pawn along.
