I just found this and read through the entire thing in one night. This is fantastic! I’m always floored by the ability people have to create entirely new worlds. I do hope that colour will come back more frequently, as it brought the comic that much more to life, but I’ll keep reading no matter what!
PS: Does anyone else think that Umway would fit right in with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

The main, character walking away… Except it’s down an ally, not into the sunset… But I think she told Willy what we were all thinking *lol*
Man alive! This chapter got totally turned upside down on it’s head with the introduction of Umway and Karrack. Their little talk answered a lot of questions and gave us a whole string of new ones. There we were, ready to go on an adventure and learn more about the world of Astray, when suddenly a whole load of unexpected information hits us from the side… I think Emily’s first day here has just been replaced by this day as the worst in her life… Yet I feel like there’s worse to come…
Amazing with the amount of speech and exposition you put into this one, that it doesn’t feel cluttered. Also, I love the environmental detail. So important to get a feel for the place, and I can really feel that last alleyway.
